Global Warehouse and Logistics Manager


We are looking for a talented Global Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Components Buisness Segment in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Accountable for CES North America Premium Freight Governance (Process Owner)

  • Accountable for CES-SILC Warehouse operations and process performance.

  • Accountable for EPA2021 materials flow at SILC based on collaborative teamwork with CES cross functional teams, manufacturing Plants, Warehouses, 3PL’s and carriers.

  • Accountable for returnable packaging for TLA, Supply module and dosers (RMS System)

  • Accountable for CES SILC ACDM process and WMO KPI’s performance improvement.

  • Support Warehouse & Logistics functional excellence initiatives on other regions.

  • Leads Logistics process on CES North America Warehouse facilities.

  • Leads COS and Cummins Policies/Values as part of CES Warehouse Management system

  • Leads SILC’s warehouse operations with 3PL and cross-functional team

  • Lead Warehouse resource optimization and costs reduction based on Problem-Solving Techniques (VSM, Kaizen, 5 Why’s, A3, Six Sigma, etc.)

  • Develop Warehouse & Logistics reporting capabilities for CES Leadership and Stakeholders ensuring data integrity of all analytics and reports

  • Co-Lead Monthly Business Meetings review with 3PL and CES X-Functional Stakeholders

  • Manage, coach, and develop team members and indirect reports

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • B.S or B.A in Supply Chain or Business or an applicable field and possibly certification in supply chain management

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required that may include: supply chain, logistics, analytic skills, problem solving, Six Sigma, etc

  • Ability to work with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP or JD Edwards

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Must be able to travel 10-15%

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
