We are looking for a talented EMEA Fleet Manager to join our team in Darlington.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

-Governance of policies and processes for all vehicles within the fleet (Circa 1000 across Europe and 400 across Africa)

-Oversight of ordering and procurement processes for all owned and leased vehicles

-Subject matter expert for benchmarking and maintenance of Company car and Tool of Job car policies across the region

-Primary interface to other Functional areas (HR, Finance, Risk, Operations, Purchasing, Legal etc.) to set long term strategy and drive improvements to overall cost and efficiency.

-Lead relationship manager for all Fleet Management Companies and service providers in the region

-Set the long-term strategy for standardization of telematics and camera system solutions


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

-Previous experience within a Fleet Management role (Whether that is in house or from a supplier)

-Direct people management experience as you will be leading a team of 2 direct reports with a further 3 with a dotted line into you

-Willingness to travel in the future (When safe to do so) this role would see you visiting sites across Europe once per month and going to sites across Africa once per quarter

-Ideally you will be holding a degree level qualification but that is not essential

Compensation and Benefits

Basic Salary: £59,000 - £75,000

Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%

Annual bonus plan - target 15% (based upon company performance)
