Placement - Customer Order Management Analyst
Cummins are now recruiting for our 2020 intake of 12 month placements in the UK, which provide a meaningful opportunity for university students to accomplish real-world projects in a professional environment.
The responsibilities of this role will include :-
- Download and format customer order boards from Oracle OBIEE for distribution
- Continuous collation of data attributed to the Business using Oracle/Excel and providing the reports to a worldwide audience
Researching various attributes of the Plant using Oracle/Excel and liaising with various departments in the creation of reports when required.
Liaising with shipping, providing essential documentation and creating important reports.
Prepare detailed Customer/Distributor Score Cards for review on a quarterly basis.
Data compilation for inclusion in a monthly report.
Working under the guidance of the Senior Account Representative, the student will be involved with all aspects of order management and customer interface with the Plant
- Encouraged to get involved with all other departments at the Plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organization
Continuously encouraged to provide own input to review and improve current processes for mutual benefit.

The role will provide excellent experience for your CV and an introduction to a business analyst role in industry. A mentor will be there to guide you through your placement year. The following training will be provided:
Training in Corporate systems such as Oracle and familiarisation with other business software.
Coaching to enable the development of other business skills.
Internal Placement and Graduate Networks
College, university, or equivalent degree in business or a related subject required
Computer literacy - proficient knowledge of Windows, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Communication skills, verbal and written
- Proactive attitude
Attention to detail.
Time management/prioritisation skills.
