Parts Technician

Description

We are looking for a talented Parts Technician to join our team specializing in logistics for our Cummins Sales and Service business in Hobbs, NM.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Process customer orders within the order management system, accurately and within the required deadline.

  • Compile and distribute export and shipping documentation to enable customer orders to be processed in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of all internal and external interactions in the appropriate database/system. Prepare and distribute standard internal and customer reports.

  • Support order management team goals and initiatives to become a more proactive customer support organization.

  • Communicates effectively

  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

  • Customer Support - Demonstrates how proactive customer support interactions are required at each phase of the order life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction; describes how customer support and the order life cycle are interconnected to ensure an overall positive customer experience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • No product knowledge

  • Basic Windows knowledge, demonstrates systems aptitude

  • Positive customer service skills for both internal and external customers

  • Works well with others on the team

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
