We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Coordinator - 1st Shift to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Components Business Segment team in Oshkosh, WI.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leverages statistical analysis, cross-functional insights, and validated planning parameters to match the supply plan with demand forecasts, enhancing supply chain stability.

  • Proactively reports work-related injuries, illnesses, or hazards and adheres to Health, Safety & Environmental standards, policies, and training, ensuring compliance and engagement in safety practices.

  • Follows standard work and quality procedures, conducting checks on planning parameters such as inventory levels and reorder points, and taking actions aligned with a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategy.

  • Performs supply and demand analysis to identify potential issues for the upcoming 12 months, assists in compiling research data, and analyzes the impact of planning parameter adjustments on key performance indicators, providing comprehensive reports.

  • Monitors for signals of abnormal demand or inventory levels, making approved adjustments to planning parameters and forecasts at a detailed level to maintain alignment with the overall demand plan.

  • Assumes responsibility for the detailed and aggregate demand, supply, and inventory plans that meet end customer needs, maintaining flexibility to perform various duties as required to support business goals

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Inventory Management and Optimization - Uses analytics and algorithms to determine the optimal level of inventory investment across the end-to-end supply chain within specific constraints (warehouse space, customer delivery, etc.); provides guidance and expertise on planning parameter refinement; develops inventory strategies to support Cummins' strategy and not just a business unit strategy.

  • Master Supply Planning and Demand Disaggregation - Uses statistical analysis and collaborates with other disciplines to provide a long term view of customers demand, and ensures the supply plan is aligned with the demand plan; balances supply and demand in a manner that achieves the financial and service objectives, while stabilizing the supply chain and optimizing the supply chain tensions.

  • ​Materials Planning System Utilization - Uses the materials planning system to manage supply and demand plans taking long-term corrective action on exception messages and other alerts based on root cause analysis; occasionally refers to adhoc tools such as Excel, Access, TOAD, OMS, etc. in performing problem solving, while leveraging the materials planning system as the primary tool in day-to-day operations

  • Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

  • knowledge of the automotive manufacturing sector and readiness to adhere to safety measures.

  • Must be a quick learner and able to collaborate with others.

  • Familiarity with Quality and time.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
